A message from our Founder & President
Dear Friends,
When I walk through the tea gardens of Assam, I see more than just endless green rows stretching toward the horizon. I see the hands that nurture each leaf. I see the families who call these gardens home. I see the children whose laughter echoes through the fields — children who deserve every chance to dream beyond what they can see.
This is why Olive Hope Foundation exists.
I grew up believing that hope works best when it's hands-on and close to home. Hope isn't a distant promise — it's a tuition centre that stays open after dark. It's a mother learning to read for the first time. It's a young girl discovering she can lead. It's a family building a livelihood with dignity.
Our Tea Tribe communities have carried generations of strength, resilience, and quiet courage. But strength alone shouldn't have to be enough. They deserve support. They deserve opportunity. They deserve to be seen.
At Olive Hope Foundation, we don't believe in charity from a distance. We believe in walking alongside our communities — listening, learning, and building together. Every program we run, every life we touch, is rooted in respect, partnership, and the belief that real change happens when we put people first.
From women's empowerment to child education, from health and hygiene to livelihood training, from after-school tuition to night schools for adults — every initiative is a seed we plant together. And with your support, those seeds grow into forests of possibility.
Hope begins here. But it doesn't end here. It ripples outward — from one child to a classroom, from one woman to a community, from one family to a generation.
Thank you for believing in this work. Thank you for standing with us. Together, we are not just changing lives — we are nurturing hope, one heart at a time.
With gratitude and hope,
Suprobhot Chow
